These corporate partnerships should be smart and generate mutual benefits for all SAG members in the form of a "win-win situation".
A decisive step took place last week when the final legal contracts were signed with the company cts Gmbh, headquartered in Burgkirchen (Germany). cts is a medium-sized, owner-managed company with over 350 motivated employees at several locations and offers innovative and high-quality solutions to customers in many industries.
The company offers a wide range of system automation for the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals and life science industries - including validation and qualification. The company's portfolio also includes system and machine engineering with the use of stationary and mobile (AMR/FTS) robotics in high-tech segments such as automotive, electronics, semiconductors and radiopharmaceuticals. The range is rounded off by software solutions for data acquisition, evaluation, visualisation and, above all, optimisation of machines and systems.
cts offers huge added value for SAG in terms of overall size and presence with production sites in Germany and Austria, and is also the largest partner in the SAG.
The "win" benefit for INSYS is especially given by the fact that INSYS as a Swiss SME with its own sales company in Munich, will be much more present in the European market and through the cooperation with cts, the ability to implement large projects together and directly in Germany, will be massively and sustainably expanded. It is becoming more and more apparent that for medium and large projects, the size of the company is an essential criterion in the decision to award the project.
In manufacturing automation, INSYS benefits from the competences and expertise of cts in the areas of production and intralogistics, handling of a wide range of components and the solution approaches in processing injection moulded parts. In general, the companies complement each other through their complementary areas in automation. cts is mainly active in the back-end (at the end of the automation chain).
The "win" benefit for cts is an expanded presence on the Swiss market as well as synergy gain in sales, procurement and after-sales. Furthermore, cts benefits immensely from the global presence of the partner companies in the USA and Asia as well as the own INSYS location in China.
The management of SAG is clearly of the common opinion that experience has shown that today three main criteria are essential in the purchase decision: Investment price, delivery time and after-sales. For the latter, a local presence with specialists on site is absolutely essential.
We are all very pleased that this is exactly what is being achieved with the strong expansion and targeted partnership.
