Vision / Inspection
For more than 10 years, INSYS has been designing and implementing systems in industrial image processing. Applications are spread all along production processes and in many different industry segments. They allow process control and management, reduce scrap rates, improve product quality and finally the product image in the markets.
Acting as a system integrator, we offer solutions for numerous vision applications: parts identification, position recognition, dimension checks, surface inspections, presence control for system parts, text and code identification are characteristic examples. Beside the project-specific realization of systems, we do offer consulting for processes, feasability studies and designing of test setups.
INSYS provides standardized, fully automatic inspection systems for industrial mass production. Both our standard systems INSYS I300 and INSYS I50 reflect our longtermn experience and competence in automation, vision control and motion.

Position of casted parts
Position and orientation of manually loaded casted cooking pots are determined by a vision module. This allows robot controlled deburring operations all along the contour of the casted part.
Text analysis and checking
Vision based checking of laser-marked medical screws. The texts of a wide set of different screw types are recognized, quality checked and tested for consistency with measured geometric data.
Checking syringes in tubs
Simultaneous optical inspection of all syringe nests in a tub, checking the presence of a syringe, its type, the presence of the needle and the protection cover. Reliable recognition of wrong and defect contents.
Inspection of large product families
Multiple measurement of specific geometry parameters, contour inspection and waste part detection on dental implants made of titanium, plastic and steel. Stand-alone cell with 3 cameras, laser measurement device, feeding unit and integrated palettizer.
