Robotics

Core competence of INSYS is robot automation. More than 500 robots have been integrated into systems and are operated in all business sectors. Robot solutions are present in assembly lines, inspection systems, processing cells and cleanroom applications. One special focus is the robot-supported, high precision processing of complex parts with 3D free shape, e.g. deburring, grinding and polishing of a broad range of materials. Some 200 corresponding systems are in operation in many different industries. 

We integrate both Scara and 6-axis robots of Stäubli and KUKA. INSYS looks back on a longterm close relation and partnership with both companies.

Our dedicated processing software allows complex robot operation and processing procedures. Based on CAD data of the workpiece, it supports the choice of a wide range of data based standards, parametrized procedures and trajectories following the shape of the given workpiece. This avoids the time consuming and inefficient teaching setup.

A special topic is the combination of robotic and vision systems. It results in a high precision operation of the robot and a precise positioning of workpieces.
