Robotic Systems

The business sector Robotic Systems is dominated by the use of robots. It is focussed on processing and inspecting various components and objects. The robot moves the parts to and along the corresponding processing and testing units. Robot solutions show an outstanding flexibility in managing a wide spread of different and changing parts.

One main topic is the high precision mechanical finishing of components by deburring, grinding, polishing and satinating. Processing includes standard geometries as well as complex, three-dimensional free shapes. All processes are managed and supported by INSYS specific powerful software packages. Our i- Center 550 stands for a universal and standardized approach to all these applications. Medical implants, watch components, turbine blades and casted iron parts represent typical fields of application.

Robot systems support complex as well as industrial inspection processes, frequently in combination with optical vision control. Inspection of watch parts and medical screws is characteristic. Other applications include non-mechanical processing of components, like for example applying coatings on medical implants.

Beside of aerospace / power generation, medical, luxury and consumer goods are the most important industry segments.
